Sensitivity is the minimum "Lux" levels in which the camera produces useable images. The lower the Lux number, the lower the light levels in which the CCTV camera produces acceptable images. The lower the Lux level rating, the more light sensitive the camera.
Our enhanced light sensitivity ExView CCD chips from Sony and Extra View CCD chips from Panasonic, offer exceptional light sensitive colour cameras in many of our CCTV cameras. Our "frame integration" cameras, (a method of electronically boosting the amount of useable light by holding the shutter open for longer), allows our "Starlight" cameras to produce a useable colour image in as little as 0.003 Lux.
