The higher the Signal to Noise ratio, the clearer the video image produced by the camera. Good CCTV cameras will have a S/N ratio of at least 48dB. Some of our colour cameras have an actual S/N ratio of 60dB - much better than most while many of our cameras have S/N ratios of at least 50dB.
